Abstract
The central character of the contemporary Hindi novel Priya is a victim of exploitation from the suffocating culture of Marwari society to the corporate culture. How women are victims of male exploitation at every level of family, love relationship, marital life, etc., has been unveiled by the author in a shocking manner.
