Abstract
The solid material left after the completion of any work, which has no meaningful use immediately or in future, remains unusable in some way, is called solid waste. These solid wastes, being large in quantity and size, use up a large area of land when dumped. Because of this, that part of the land becomes unusable. And the surrounding environment becomes inhospitable. Due to the growth of various insects, bacteria and viruses etc., there is a possibility of many diseases arising and spreading.
