Automatic Text Summarization and Audio Generation

Summarization is the task of reducing the size of the initial text while at the same time preserving key informational elements and the meaning of the content. Since manual text summarization is a time expensive and generally laborious task the automatization of the task is gaining increasing popularity. The framework first selects salient sentences and then independently condenses each of the selected sentences into a concise version. Finally an extractor utilizes the context information of the document to select candidates and assembles them into a summary. This summary is further converted into audio format.
