Abstract
The concept of seismic analysis of irregular building frames with soil?structure interaction subjected to pounding effect is introduced, and the research methods were discussed. Irregular configuration either in plane or in elevation is recognized as one a matter of concern of the major cause of failure during earthquakes. Thus irregular structures, are Based on several data, a systematic summary of the soil?structureinteraction study that considers adjacent structures were proposed as reference to ponding effect. The process in which response of soil influences the mobility of structure and the motion of structure influence the response of the soil is termed as soil-structure interaction.
