Abstract
The hacienda in Mexico known as that self-sustaining production unit that emerged at the end of the 16th century and was consolidated in the 18th century, contributing to the economic diversification of the different regions of New Spain according to their production and for whose productive needs generated a diversity of sets in industrial and residential architecture, has its origins in Spanish farmhouses and in a series of constructive elements that we will list in this essay.
