Social and Economic Impact on Education in India

This paper studies the way and the extent to which various types of changes influence the shape of the society and how far education is affected by the same. Here an analysis is done on how societal and economic condition of India had a profound effect on her education sector in past two centuries which is still struggling with illiteracy and poverty. Keeping these two big problems in background Central Govt. as well as State Govt. is trying hard to improve the education sector with the introduction of many welfare schemes meant for SC, ST and other downtrodden people.
