Many interesting works on interlanguage contacts and the language situation in Transcarpathia were published in the Research Center named after A. Hours of the Transcarpathian Hungarian Institute named after Ferenc Rakotsi II (hereinafter ZUI). One of these was the Hungarian-language monograph by V. Gazdag "Szláv eleme a Kárpátaljai Beregszászi járás magyar nyelvjárásaiban" ("Slavic lexical elements in the Hungarian dialects of the Berehiv district of the Transcarpathian region"), which raised important and urgent issues of Slavic-Hungarian language interference , the development of Hungarian Slavic studies in general.
