Abstract
This study aimed at identifying the effect of using a training program to enhance the skills of written expression among EFL learners who have learning disabilities in English during the COVID-19 pandemic. The total number of EFL students until the end of the first semester in 2019/2020 was (745), and the participants of the study included (50) students. The students were distributed into two equal groups, 25 students in each group. The electronic written expression test and the proposed electronic program for developing electronic written expression skills were used in the study, the quasi-experimental method was also used in the study, which included a pre and post measurement of each of the electronic written expression skills and achievement in the English language. The results showed the effectiveness of the training program. There were differences between the the performance of the experimental and control groups in each of the electronic written expression skills tests and achievement levels in the English language, in favor of the students in the experimental group. The study recommended holding training courses in the field of developing written expression skills for learners of English as a foreign language (EFL) in light of their characteristics and needs.
