Abstract
There is a great interest on the role of irisin level in the pathogenesis of many diseases, in particular diabetes mellitus. This research attempted to focus on assessing of irisin levels in type1 diabetes with and without poor glycemic control compared with healthy controls. Irisin is defined as a peptide hormone mainly produced by skeletal muscle.
