WEB SERIES CONTENT AND CHANGING LIFESTYLES OF THE AUDIENCES OF MADHYA PRADESH: AN ANALYTICAL STUDY

Presently digital media is one of the influential media of entertainment and hence the potential for its impact on the users is also high. With the easy availability of internet and cheap smart mobile phone market, the use of all the mediums of online media like social media, SVOD etc. is increasing continuously. Digital medium encourages users to make choices and take different decisions on many issues, and digital medium also has the ability to change their lifestyle. With the development of technology there has been a significant change in digital medium in which an OTT "web series" has an important place. The medium of web series can influence not only the way people interpret different aspects of life but also the tendency to use the medium and the watching pattern. Due to lack of regulation, there is more use of hate speech, pornography, which has a direct impact on the lifestyle of the audience. In the present study, we will try to know the various changes and effects in lifestyle from web series content on the audience of Madhya Pradesh as well as feedback related to web series and OTT platform. For this, will carry out analytical studies by involving regular audience of the OTT platform through schedule format in the study by applying Purposive Sampling techniques.
