Abstract
The topic concentrates on classifying driving style risks using telematics data. The rationale for this project is the increasing amount of telematics data available. Many drivers employ GPS-enabled devices, and the data generated from these devices could be used in many applications such analysing driver behaviour. In the research, telematics of GPS data will be used to evaluate and cluster driving behaviour into three main styles: high risk, medium risk and low risk. This clustering can help insurance companies improve their billing systems by more precisely rating the drivers' actual behaviours and developing usage-based or pay-how-you-drive policies
