PERCEPTION OF STUDENTS TOWARDS EMPLOYMENT IN IT SECTOR

This empirical research investigates the perception IT students on employment in IT sector. The sample study based on central Kerala analyzed their perception on future career and also about the positive and negative features of employment IT sector. The analysis of data by using nonparametric tools showed the results that the students representing youth perceive more positives than negatives on employment in IT sector. Most students found selected the IT stream of education with passion towards this sector. No gender disparity in opinion about the IT sector employment is validated in the study.
