Abstract
This study was aimed at studying the clinical course of chronic viral hepatitis B in patients with COVID-19 (PCR positive) during the pandemic period of 2020-2021. The authors conducted a comparative differential diagnosis of 105 patients diagnosed with Covid 19 who were under dispensary control for (2020-2021) concomitant chronic viral hepatitis B with the medical histories of 115 patients treated with COVID 19 diagnoses in a specialized hospital during the pandemic. The authors tried to show that among people with chronic viral hepatitis B, the incidence of COVID-19 is relatively low or proceeds as an acute respiratory disease with a mild course.
