MANAGEMENT OF LABOR PRODUCTIVITY AT THE ENTERPRISE IN MODERN CONDITIONS

Abstract

The essence and significance of labor productivity management at the enterprise in the conditions of modern practice have been studied, not only in a narrow interpretation, but also in a broad one. It was emphasized that productivity ensures the competitiveness of any enterprise, which in turn affects the created product and the well-being of the population. Using the methodology for calculating labor productivity at the national level proposed in the Temporary methodological recommendations for calculating labor productivity in the economy and by types of economic activity, the dynamics of labor productivity in Ukraine for 2015–2021 are given. It is noted that for the period 2015–2021, the labor productivity indicator in Ukraine has a steady upward trend. The advantages of labor productivity management at the enterprise are given. It is also stated that Ukraine lags behind developed countries and countries with transition economies in terms of labor productivity, calculated as the ratio of GDP in prices per PC to one employed person. It is emphasized that today it is the human resource that is considered the most important internal resource for increasing productivity, therefore effective personnel management is of key importance for the success and effectiveness of the enterprise. The question is outlined that the management of labor productivity at the enterprise will contribute to the growth of employees' incomes, the implementation of the criteria of productive management, and ensuring the competitive position of the enterprise.
