APPLICATION OF AIR-HEATED HEAT RECOVERY UNITS FOR INDUSTRIAL FURNACES

Abstract
The application peculiarities of the developed air-heating heat recovery units designed for useful use of the fuel-consuming regenerative furnaces waste heat are described. The constructive design is characterized and the main thermal technical characteristics of these heat exchangers are determined, and the ways to improve their thermal efficiency are indicated. The applying of a combined heat recovery scheme using water and air-heating equipment is proposed. It is shown that the combined scheme provides an increase in the efficiency of using the furnace fuel heat by 1.5 times more compared to the situation of using only air-heating heat exchangers.
