DATABASE WITH ECO-INHIBITORS OF CORROSION FOR CARBON STEEL IN ACID ENVIRONMENT

Combating corrosion is justified by the need for safety in the operation of installations, the assurance of the appropriate quality of the manufactured product, limitation the material losses and pollution. Corrosion inhibitors are substances that, added in very small quantities, reduce, or even stop the corrosion phenomenon of metals. Some eco or green corrosion inhibitors are obtained from plant extracts. This paper presents the creation of a database with eco-inhibitors of corrosion obtained for plants, from literature database, a database that can be further supplemented with information from own studies or those of other researchers.
