A Study to Assess the Level of Knowledge on Cyber Security among B.Sc Nursing Students in the Selected Colleges at Chennai

Nurses are people who need self assessment to maintain and improve their practice by identifying their strengths and weakness in the areas that may need to be further developed. Computer security, cyber security or information technology security is the protection of computer system and networks from information disclosure. Theft of or damage to their hardware, software, or electronic data, as well as from the disruption or misdirection of the services they provide. A Non experimental study was conducted to assess the level of knowledge on cyber security among B.Sc. N . A descriptive research design was adopted for the study and 94B.Sc. Nursing II year students were selected using purposive sampling technique. Self Structure question is a standardized tool was used to assess the level of knowledge among the B.Sc. Nursing II year students for the duration of 10 – 15 minutes. The study findings showed 34.04 nursing students had adequate knowledge.
