BAS-RELIEF OF A LION ON A STONE SLAB FROM THE EXCAVATIONS IN YURIEV-POLSKY

This article describes the heraldic significance of the symbol of the lion. The obvious relevance of this issue in connection with the discovery of bas-relief related to the Cathedral of St. George which is located in the town of Yuriev - Polsky.
