Abstract
The increase in the prevalence of stressful conditions causes an increase in morbidity, which must be taken into account in the work of a psychologist. The article discusses the main somatic diseases that develop as a result of stress, gives a brief description of the mechanisms of their occurrence and the main symptoms.
