APPLICATIONS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF ECONOMIC COMPETENCE OF FUTURE SPECIALISTS

Abstract
Introduction. To ensure the training of a competitive specialist in today's conditions, a higher education institution has to develop and implement a personally oriented model of learning technology. In today's conditions, the request of society, the public, parents, and students for the implementation of the applied nature of economic knowledge and information and communication technologies in their interaction with the help of the educational discipline «Economic Informatics» is being actualized. The use of Microsoft Office Excel, as an application program and toolkit of the above educational discipline, enables the formation of economic competence of future specialists in the process of professional training. Purpose. To highlight the aspects of the impact of applications in the development of economic competence of future specialists in the process of professional training and to achieve the expected results of training according to the educational and professional program. Methods. Analysis and generalization of scientific literature, comparison, synthesis, systematization, and generalization of information were used. Results. The versatility of the discipline «Economic Informatics» has been highlighted, which makes it possible in today's conditions to form the economic competence of students of higher education institutions and institutions of vocational pre-higher education. The application programs are designed to solve tasks and data processing, in particular, those that have economic content. Under these conditions, Microsoft Office Excel acts as the primary basis for the system interaction of economic knowledge and information and communication technologies. The separate directions and pedagogical technologies on the way to the formation of economic competence of future specialists in the process of professional training have been outlined. Originality. The content and tools of the educational discipline «Economic Informatics» ensure the systematic formation of the economic competence of future information technology specialists who acquire a specialty under the educational and professional program of the specialty 122 Computer Sciences. Conclusion. Providing the demand of society and the labor market for a competitive specialist, the institution of higher education based on the introduction into the professional training process of a personally oriented model of learning technology and the educational discipline «Economic Informatics», enables the effectiveness of the educational process. The systematic application of the applied nature of economic knowledge and information and communication technologies becomes the basis for the development of competencies, in particular economics, of those education applicants in the process of professional training, achieving the predicted results according to the educational and professional program of the specialty.
