Abstract
Indonesia as the largest archipelagic country in the world with a coastline of 108,000 kilometers, has land borders with three neighboring countries and Indonesian waters borders with ten neighboring countries, so it is the obligation of the Indonesian government and all citizens to maintain the integrity of its territory. In maintaining the integrity of its territory directly adjacent to other countries, based on geographical conditions in terms of this approach, the border area should be placed as the front fence in the national defense system
