Translation on Medical Terms into Indonesian

This research reveals the linguistics phenomenon especially translation. Translation in this research is focused on medical and the use of medical technical terms.The problems were formulated into translation prosedur on medical terms into Indonesian. The theories of this research were translation theory namely translation procedure by Vinay dan Darbelnet (in Venuti, 2000), theory of semantics (semantic features) by Nida& Taber (1975). Research related to medical linguistics so far is still relatively small and the object of research so far is still in books or library research. This research reveals translations in health terms. The results of this study are the procedures for translating health terms that are reformulated in accordance with research needs. Therefore, research on the translation of health terms necessary.
