Entrepreneurial Agricultural Projects in Madaba– A Sociology Study

Abstract

This study aims to identify the social and economic characteristics of the owners of entrepreneurial agricultural projects in Madaba Governorate, and to identify the nature of these projects, the analytical descriptive approach is used by applying a questionnaire to a sample of (69) owners of a entrepreneurial agricultural project in Madaba Governorate. The study came out with a number of results regarding the social and economic characteristics of the owners of projects, as it was found that most of the owners of agricultural projects have a clear and specific goal for the project and have a sense of responsibility. The results also showed regarding the nature of the managed projects that most of the projects are projects for planting fruit trees. This study concluded with a number of recommendations, the most important of which is the need to form agricultural business incubators for the owners of agricultural projects at the level of the Kingdom, and the need to work on training and qualifying project owners in all administrative and financial aspects, and to work periodically to conduct field studies and address problems, especially with regard to training manpower on modern technology.
