AUTHORSHIP PATTERN AND DEGREE OF COLLABORATION IN MEDITATION RESEARCH OUTPUT

The study presents the trends in authorship pattern and author's collaborative research in Meditation research output with a sample of 4,085 articles downloaded from Web of Science database during the period 1991-2020. The proportion or single authored papers has fallen to 24.49% indicating the trend towards multiple author ship. The pattern of authorship varies from one subject field to another. The proportion of multi-authored papers was very high (74.51%) in one sub-field, and it ranged between 20-30% in other sub-fields
