Abstract

Currently, the training of athletes in any sport is moving to another level, the connection of sports with science increases the effectiveness of the training process. For example, in swimming, there is a significant progress in results at the championships of Russia and the world arena. If earlier a significant role in the training of swimmers was given to the volume of kilometers swam, now the engine of progress is the technique of swimming, individual characteristics, the passage of training stages of preparation and recovery. If we highlight butterfly, then the improvement of results occurs every year, In the 2000s, many said that the limit of results had already been reached, but now athletes have gone far ahead. New methods of training swimmers are being actively promoted, primarily the development of certain muscles with the help of special exercises. There are visible changes in the butterfly technique, which increases the efficiency of movements and makes it possible to use your potential effectively.
