Strategies for Eradicating Poverty and Fostering Socially Sustainable Development for Economic Growth in Nigeria

Nigeria, like many other developing countries, faces the challenge of poverty and achieving socially sustainable development. This paper explores the various ways in which poverty eradication and socially sustainable development can be achieved in Nigeria. The paper analyzed the current poverty situation in Nigeria and identified its causes, as well as the key sectors that can promote economic growth and reduce poverty in Nigeria. This paper also discussed the role of social protection programs in poverty reduction and sustainable development, and highlighted the importance of good governance in poverty eradication and sustainable development in Nigeria. Finally, this paper provides recommendations on policies and strategies that can be implemented by the Nigerian government to achieve poverty eradication and socially sustainable development in Nigeria.
