Abstract
In the recent years many uses in aviation, maritime, land surveying, and transportation, a low-cost, high-accuracy GPS receiver is required. Problem discovery, requirements collecting, literature review, design and development, testing and evaluation, data analysis, refinement, improvement, validation, and deployment are all steps in the process of creating such a receiver. This work provides a methodology for developing a GPS receiver that satisfies the criteria of the intended application by combining hardware and software components, signal processing techniques, and testing and evaluation procedures. To promote the accessibility of GPS-based services to a wider audience, researchers and engineers can follow this process to create low-cost, high-accuracy GPS receivers that can enhance navigational precision while decreasing expenses. Obtaining reliable reference data and reducing the effects of environmental factors on GPS precision are two areas where the proposed approach might use more work. However, it lays the groundwork for creating cheap, high-precision GPS receivers to meet the rising demand for such services
