Abstract
Wireless Body Area Networks (WBANs) have emerged as a promising technology for healthcare applications. WBANs consist of small, low-power sensors that are attached to the human body, which can measure and monitor physiological parameters such as heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, and glucose levels. These sensors wirelessly communicate with a central hub or gateway, which can relay the data to healthcare professionals for real-time monitoring and analysis. In this abstract, we will discuss the design and implementation of a WBAN for healthcare applications, including the hardware and software components, the communication protocols, and the data management and analysis. Despite the many advantages of WBANs, there are also some challenges that must be addressed. One of the main challenges is the need to ensure the security and privacy of patient data. As WBANs transmit sensitive medical data wirelessly, it is important to ensure that this data is protected from unauthorized access. Additionally, there are concerns about the potential for cyber-attacks on WBANs, which could compromise patient safety and privacy
