Abstract
In our advanced technological era, flames and smoke pose a serious hazard to human existence by compromising property, environment, and personal safety. Predicting the fire at an early stage utilizing a detection mechanism is necessary to lessen the impact. Since that smoke is widely recognized as an early warning sign of fire, it is recommended that a smoke detecting technology be developed for the sake of environmental safety and early protection against the uncontrolled fire. In most cases, the loss of definition at the semi-transparent edges of picture frames is what causes a decrease in the frequency content of movies. Study of the SIFT descriptor method and the SVM classifier for smoke detection is presented here
