Abstract

The article substantiates the conditions for the formation of research competence of a future history teacher in the process of professional training; the content of the concepts "competence", "research competence" has been clarified, by which we understand the integral characteristic of a person, which consists in the readiness and ability to independently assimilate and receive systems of new knowledge as a result of transferring the semantic context of activity from functional to transformative, based on existing knowledge, skills, skills and methods of activity; it is substantiated that the necessary components of scientific research activity can be defined as the following: the ability to formulate the purpose and hypothesis of the research, that is, the design component; the to process various sources in order to collect the necessary data, that is, the information component; the to choose the main and auxiliary methods of research, i.e. the analytical component, the to determine the practical orientation of the research, i.e. the practical component; the expediency of using such principles of research competence formation in the training of future history teachers, in particular: the of scientificity, the of systematicity, the of integration, the of connection of learning with life, the of consciousness and activity in learning, the of professional orientation, the of variability, the of individualization, the of self-realization, the of interactivity, the of continuity
