Abstract
Many digital communication systems suffer from the problem of inter symbol interference (ISI), which may arise from the common phenomenon of multipath propagation, thus to achieve reliable communication in these situations, channel equalization is necessary. This paper presents how to reduce ISI, for that first we are calculating the optimal channel weight vector of wiener filter. The purpose of the wiener filter is to reduce the amount of noise present in a signal by comparison with an estimation of the desired noiseless signal.
