The article deals with the issues of correction of aggressive behavior of convicts with different social status.As practice shows, in places of detention, informal social status is of particular importance and often means reliable protection of one's interests.As a result, there is both self-affirmation and self-affirmation at the microsocial level. In turn, under the influence of social and economic factors, more and more different requirements are imposed on the individual, which can lead to a decrease in stress resistance and the development of stress, which turns into a willingness to implement aggressive actions with prolonged exposure to stress.
