Abstract
Measuring and monitoring security is a niche area of information security. Although not entirely novel, this area of study has thus far received scant and erratic attention. To validate the formulated security measures and the measurement outputs, we have conducted an exploratory empirical evaluation on a running system, which has been a long-standing difficulty in the research community. The suggested security assessment has been reduced to an algorithm, broadening the scope of the proposed framework and eliminating the need for specialized security expertise on the part of the user.
