Abstract
IbnNafiss Hospital is a psychiatric university center that covers a large region, with a population over three millions. During the period of the pandemic (covid-19), the activity of psychiatric emergencies experienced a marked change. At the start of the pandemic and during the confinement period, we noted a drop in the flow of patients associated with a drop in the number of hospitalizations. After the deconfinement, we noticed an increase in the numbers of consulting patients, however the numbers of hospitalizations did not increase despite the important demand for care. The most diagnoses commonly founded, were psychosis and depression, althought a higher percentage of anxiety disorders was expected. Several adjustments have been made to maintain the daily activity of the hospital.
