Abstract

Agile software development approaches, which place an emphasis on adaptability, teamwork, and customer value, have developed as a revolutionary style of project management. The review emphasizes the fundamental ideas, advantages, and difficulties of popular Agile techniques including Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), Kanban, Lean Software Development, and others. A proposed hybrid strategy that combines various Agile approaches is also presented to overcome obstacles and adapt Agile implementation to particular organisational needs. The assessment shows the broad range of industries in which Agile approaches are being used, including software development, product development, IT projects, marketing campaigns, research and development, and general project management. Overall, Agile approaches provide a collaborative, customer-centric approach to project management that is adaptable, allowing organisations to improve project outcomes, raise customer happiness, and boost team efficiency. Agile approaches will continue to be an important tool for efficient project management as business and technological environments change in the future.
