Abstract
To that end, this research uses a randomized design of eight trials to examine the impact of process variables on centrifugal casting of aluminum alloy with the goal of reducing faults in the process. Predictions are made on the effects of changing the cooling rate, temperature, and mode on a solidifying aluminum alloy, and the resulting defects of shrinkage and blow holes are analyzed. In this study, we provide a novel technique for identifying optimal control parameters that simultaneously maximize output and product quality. The method relies on maintaining surface and core temperatures within narrow limits associated with steel's ductility. In order to achieve the required surface and core temperatures, the optimization layer is placed on top of the numerical model and repeatedly optimizes the input parameters. Our fuzzy-logic interface performs the optimization method in a standalone mode. The model's findings may be put to use in practice casting.
