Abstract
Laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC) is one of the most common surgical procedures performed worldwide. The spectrum of complications post LC may differ from those that occur after open surgery. Retained CBD stones and bile duct injuries are the most common causes of early post LC jaundice. Transient obstructive jaundice post LC is almost always due to spontaneous passage of retained CBD stones or sludge. Post cholecystectomy pancreatitis is a rare entity. We report a case of coincident obstructive jaundice and acute pancreatitis following elective LC
