The purpose of this Paper is to analyze the epic as a work of academic interest. Here we can study the cultural and emotional intellectual auxiliaries.The objectives of our University education is to teach freedom of thought and freedom of expression in a way as spelt out in this Epic. Unlike the folk epics of the oral order,the recently composed Epic Sharanabasava; The Scion of Mahadasoha is an English literary epic composed by a Laureate Dr.Dollegoudar.S.G This Epic would surely help the students to build literary knowledge along with the growth of strength, spirituality, humanity and integrity of their personality.
