GAMIFICATION AS A DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY IN HR MANAGEMENT

Abstract

The article provides an analytical review of scientific publications of domestic and foreign scientists devoted to the development of methodological concepts of gamification in online recruiting processes, assessment of knowledge and professional skills of employees in HR management. Game technology (gametech) or game-based learning methods in the digital economy has become widely used and is in demand among company employees. The theoretical basis of gamification is considered as a methodical toolkit for professional training, competency assessment and employee motivation. Different needs and goals of using gamification as a digital technology in empirical studies of scientists and practical activity of companies have been identified: such a tool is interesting and exciting. The analytical review of existing gamification methods conducted in the article showed their advantages and disadvantages. Gamification in the company's HR management is used to increase the personnel effectiveness, potential assessment and professional behaviour correction in the training and development of the organization's talents / management reserve for their promotion along the career map. A methodical toolkit for initiation and implementation of game simulation for employees in the HR management of the enterprise is proposed in view of the growth of digital technologies. As part of the proposed algorithm for the implementation of the gamification project as a digital technology in the enterprise personnel management, a step-by-step checklist was created with the characteristics of each stage (initiation of the game tool introduction, communication with the audience, testing, implementation, conclusions, gamification improvement). For each stage, indicative performance indicators and necessary informational and methodical resources are specified. In the process of implementing the gamification project, it is important to monitor feedback from participants: it is recommended to conduct a satisfaction survey of participants, determine communication channels for obtaining insights and reflection. It was emphased on the empirical experience of companies that are forced to search ways to retain and motivate qualified employees, especially if their work is monotonous or routine in nature. It was concluded that gamification as a digital technology can improve the quality of professional training of employees, support their motivation and labour productivity.
