Abstract
Creation of mathematical models of electric circuits, in particular in the form of differential equations of the second order, is one of the urgent modern tasks of electrical engineering. The article is devoted to a review of existing mathematical models for solving applied problems in the power industry using differential calculus. The mathematical apparatus and mathematical competences are singled out, which will serve as additional tools when solving problems of a professional direction, taking into account the acquired knowledge and skills. The study analyzed the theoretical and practical approach to the creation of mathematical models of electric circuits in the form of differential equations as one of the current problems of electrical engineering. The existing model of small free current fluctuations in a closed electric circuit for an oscillating circuit has been improved by taking into account the characteristics of the quality of the circuit and the Q factor of the oscillating circuit.
