DIGITALIZATION AND IMPACT ON THE FORMATION OF FINANCIAL RESOURCES FOR DEFENSE ACTIVITIES UNDER THE CONDITIONS OF THE STATE OF MARTIAL

The article examines the role of digitalization for the economy of martial law and its impact on the formation of financial resources for defense activities. The essential characteristics of digitization in the economy are clarified, in particular, the definition of such concepts as «digitalization» and «digital economy», the key directions of the influence of digital tools on the economy in the conditions of martial law are determined. The main advantages and disadvantages of digitalization are revealed: the key advantage of digitalization in martial law is the possibility of applying a number of the latest developments in all spheres of life in order to optimize the activities of people and processes (the «Digital for freedom» program), the main disadvantage is the strengthening of risks to cyber security and threats to information security, a weak point is the impossibility of using its tools during a blackout. The areas of connection between digitization and the formation of financial resources of defense activities have been studied. The identified directions relate to the need to increase funding in the field of defense to ensure cyber security, the development of the latest technologies, the improvement of communication systems (ensuring fast and uninterrupted exchange of information between military units), analytics and data processing (systems for analyzing and processing large volumes of data), the implementation of the military Internet of Things (IoT) (the expansion of the use of connected devices and sensors in military operations), the development of cyber-physical systems (the creation of integrated systems that combine digital technologies with physical means of military equipment), electronic warfare (the development and application of electronic means of combat support).
