Abstract
Introduction. The paper analyzes the latest outsourcing research from the point of view of the distribution of demand factors for IT outsourcing projects. The study is based on the typology of IT outsourcing projects of the Deloitte company, formed based on clustering. Clustering was performed based on two criteria. The first is the degree of simplicity of tasks the Customer transfers to the IT outsourcing company. The second criterion is the possibility of automating these tasks in the future from the Customer's point of view. Three clusters were formed: the «Traditional Outsourcing» cluster, the «Managed Services (BPO)» cluster, and the «Operate Services» cluster. Based on the review of the literature and the systematization of research results, it is proposed to distinguish three groups of factors of demand for outsourcing. The first group combines financial factors, the second group represents technological factors, and the remaining factors are classified as «other.» Each of the groups characterizes the interest of customers in various areas of economic benefits from the use of IT outsourcing. It is hypothesized that different clusters of IT outsourcing will have a different set of demand factors, or the specified groups of elements will have an additional specific weight in each cluster. The influence of factors on forming the fundamental (internal) value of an IT outsourcing company will differ depending on the cluster in which it operates. The hypothesis was tested based on data from two independent studies of IT outsourcing. The performed calculations made it possible to determine the average values of the specific weight of each demand factor group for each cluster. Such calculations will enable the management of IT outsourcing companies to formulate a strategy for further development aimed at increasing the fundamental (internal) value depending on the cluster in which the IT outsourcing company operates. Purpose. The article aims to highlight the basis for building a strategy for developing an IT outsourcing company based on the typology of the outsourcing services market and the features of the distribution of demand factors between different clusters of outsourcing projects. Having such a basis, the management of the IT outsourcing company will be able to form and implement the company's development strategy, taking into account the type of cluster in which the company operates. Optimizing the development strategy based on matching the demand factors with the supply factors in the relevant cluster will provide an opportunity to allocate the company's resources optimally, thus increasing the fundamental value of the IT outsourcing company. Materials and methods. Research materials of the work of foreign authors who conduct their scientific and practical research in the field of outsourcing in general, and specifically in the field of IT outsourcing. In the process of carrying out the research, the following scientific methods were used: theoretical generalization and grouping (anthologizing of IT outsourcing from the point of view of customer companies), morphological analysis and synthesis (to build a hierarchy of IT outsourcing clusters and to build the distribution of demand factors for IT outsourcing among the identified groups); logical generalization of results (formulation of conclusions). The results. The scientific article reveals and substantiates the distribution of weights of groups of IT outsourcing demand factors according to each identified cluster of IT outsourcing. The distribution of demand factor weights allows you to create a basis for building a strategy for developing an IT outsourcing company depending on the IT outsourcing cluster.
