Abstract
The article examines the norms of ecological communication, which is a sign of the professional culture of modern teachers. Ecological communication involves harmonious, positive communication between all participants of the educational process. The ecological approach to communication is an actual direction that was formed in Western education, primarily in Great Britain and the USA, and is now being actively implemented in Ukrainian education. This approach is based on the principles of child-centeredness, partnership pedagogy, competence training, inclusion, and the choice of an individual educational trajectory. It is noted that the ecological communication is a requirement of today, associated with a change in the educational paradigm, and instead of criticism, unification, focusing on the best students and educational achievements, it involves the creation of a psychologically comfortable, friendly atmosphere that motivates students, allows everyone to realize themselves in the field where he is interested, and at the level at which he is capable. The article elaborates the essence of the ecological approach to the communicative process. The norms of ecological communication are defined, namely: positive communication, optimistic attitude and attention to the student's personality. It is emphasized that resilience, that is, stress resistance, the ability to respond flexibly to life's difficulties, is also included in the list of qualities important for a teacher today. This is extremely relevant to today's Ukrainian realities, because in the conditions of the Russian-Ukrainian war, teachers must be as resilient as possible, able to ensure not only physical, but also psychological and emotional safety of students. It has been proven that the ability to establish harmonious relations and positive communication with students, i.e. ecological communication, is included in the list of the main qualities of a modern teacher and is one of the signs of pedagogical culture. The ecological communication as a basic feature of a teacher's professional culture has been studied. A set of events (webinar, round table, trainings, competition) aimed at forming the professional culture of teachers, taking into account the need to improve the ecological communication, is proposed.
