Abstract
Background: Marburg virus (MARV) belongs to Filovirus, which cause deadly hemorrhagic fever in humans. Due to its highly dangerous potential, not much work has been done and its treatment has still to be found yet. Objective: The aim of this study was to demonstrate potential therapeutic options against MARV. There is no therapy discovered for the treatment of MARV infection, however there are certain therapeutic options, which only enhance the life span of infected ones. Material and Methods: A literature search was performed by using the keywords; Chemical approaches against MARV, therapeutic options against Marburg, in Pubmed, Bioline International, BioOne, ScienceDirect and Google scholar.
