Modem methodological approaches to the assessment of impact of mining companies on the environment as an ecological innovation

The methods of quantitative impact assessment of investment projects on the environment and methods of the economic analysis of benefits and costs, which focus on the economic impact assessment of projects on the environment, are researched. The author established the positive aspects of these methods, flaws. Those methods which would be the most appropriate for use in the mining industry as an ecological innovation are revealed.
