Abstract
Guda is very much important and last part of Gastrointestinal system. Many anorectal disorders occurs in this guda region that is why it is very much important to know all anatomical aspects in detail into a surgeons point of view. Guda is defined as the opening where the gastrointestinal tract ends and exits the body which excretes faeces and flatus through it. It is the mool of pureeshvaha strotasa. Acharya Charak mentioned it among fifteen koshthangas, it is one of bahirmukh strotas of the body. It is sadyopranahar marma.
