Abstract
The purpose of the article is to summarize the results of the process of creation, approval and practical implementation of a 3D-tour by the premises of the Central State Scientifi c and Technical Archives of Ukraine (CSSTA of Ukraine). The main attention is focused on the features of the development of the virtual tour, fi lling it with various content that will allow it to be used as an auxiliary educational element, and the problems that were identifi ed during the project testing were characterized. The methodology of the study. The authors studied the problem through the prism of traditional historical approaches (historical-thematic and historical-chronological), proposing to include the concepts of modeling and social observations. Scientifi c novelty. In view of the lack of systematic development of complex 3D-tours by archival institutions in Ukraine, the novelty of the article consists in revealing the specifi city of introducing virtual reality into the archives work, developing a scenario of fi lling with various multifaceted content, which will contribute to the popularization, modernization and inclusiveness of the archival case. Prospects for further research. During 2023, the CSSTA of Ukraine is planning to integrate updated unique (including audiovisual) and interactive content (testing, surveys, quests, etc.) into the previous version of the 3D tour. It is expected to conduct the overview tours in a new 3D online format using the Zoom service. Conclusions. 3D-tours are a unique kind of visual content, that allows the user to actively participate (presence eff ect) in the process of a virtual tour of the archives (the user chooses the route, the pace of viewing, viewing objects, etc.). The result of the research is a convincing and well-founded need to introduce 3D-tours into archival practice in order to initiate new opportunities to attract innovative technologies in the domestic archival industry. These processes are particularly relevant during a full-scale Russian aggression, without limiting the interested archival researcher in in access to the archives building 24/7.
