Abstract
There were presented the results of fire-engineering tests of D150-D600 medium-density polystyrene concrete grades, which have effective heat-insulating and structural properties. There was carried out the evaluation of its combustibility, flammability, smoke-generating ability, toxicity of combustion products and its surface flame spread behaviour. According to the results of this assessment, the requirements for specified properties were regulated in the interstate standard for polystyrene concrete. It helps to use the polystyrene concrete more efficiently in energy-efficient building construction.
