Abstract
The article considers the main aspects of the economic development of Ukraine, analyzed the indicators of the gross domestic product in recent years. The authors focused the main attention on the need to introduce technological innovations at enterprises in order to update the production base, increase their productivity and competitiveness. The role of export and international cooperation is also analyzed.
