ANALYSIS OF USING THE TOPOGRAPHIC AND GEODESIC OPPORTUNITIES TO STRENGTHEN THE DEFENSE CAPACITY OF UKRAINE

Ukraine is currently facing significant challenges due to threats from Russia, particularly in the realm of topographical, geodesic, and cartographical resources. Unfortunately, the upgrade of topographic map materials is being hindered by financial problems and military conflicts, further exacerbating the situation. The StateGeoCadastre has many important tasks to fulfill, including the alienation of land, but the current uncertainty in the field could lead to crises. While the State Land Cadastre (SLC) data is of strategic importance for military planning, its drawbacks are impeding policies and jeopardizing the country's security. Therefore, it is crucial to reconsider the management policy of the non-functional SLC, with a focus on bolstering the defense capacity and security of the country. By placing emphasis on the topographic and geodesic potential, it is possible to ensure the effective use of geodesic data for the national security and defense capacity goals.
